BATTERY STORAGE
Keep the power you store and then reuse to your leisure with home battery. If you currently have solar and are sick of feed in tariffs chop and changing then why not make the investment in keeping the energy your solar generates. Whilst batteries can prove to be costly for the average household, it can prove to be a great investment. Our highly skilled and trusted electricians can offer to install a new battery with your existing solar at a competitive price, pending what inverter you currently have. They also offer great combo deals with a battery added on as an extension when getting solar installed for the first time, as you may be eligible for the solar rebate, which makes the installation cheaper.
At Bozlec, we understand your house is your home, we guarantee to not only educate you on batteries but find you the best battery or solar+battery combo on the market. We want to power you into the future and team you up with the best installer for your individual needs.
If your going low, medium or high end, Bozlec will provide the best result for you!
ABOUT BATTERY STORAGE

A solar battery works by storing excess energy generated by solar panels during the day for later use. When sunlight hits the solar panels, they convert it into direct current (DC) electricity, which is used to power your home or business. If the solar panels produce more electricity than you need, the surplus energy is stored in the solar battery as chemical energy. This stored energy can be converted back into usable alternating current by an inverter when the solar panels aren't generating power, such as at night or on cloudy days. You must have a hybrid inverter installed or previously installed if adding a battery. Solar batteries typically use lithium-ion technology and are managed by a Battery Management System (BMS) that ensures safe and efficient operation. By storing and later using this energy, solar batteries help reduce reliance on the electrical grid, provide backup power, and potentially lower electricity costs by optimising energy use.
A variety of battery models are available for solar energy storage, each offering different technologies and features. Lithium-ion batteries, such as the Tesla Power wall and LG Chem RESU. These are popular for their efficiency and scalability. Lithium iron phosphate batteries, like Pylontech and Simpliphi Power, are known for safety and longevity. Flow batteries, including the Redflow ZCell, offer long cycle life, while lead-acid batteries, like Century Yuasa and Trojan, are traditional and durable options. Hybrid systems, such as Alpha-ESS, BYD and Redback, combine inverters and batteries for all-in-one solutions. These choices provide flexibility depending on energy needs, safety, and cost preferences.
